We are open for birthday celebrations on Wednesday’s. Both children and adults can explore our exhibitions together, in addition to a fun activity.
Choose between the following time slots: 16:45 to 19:00, 17:15 to 19:30 and 17:45 to 20:00.

We have ketchup, mustard and dried onion. We have alternative hot dogs: Chicken, vegetarian, gluten free buns. Please let us know if you want an alternative at the latest, Monday in the same week as the birthday.
Mugs of cold cordial will be served at the tables.
For dessert, choose between a brownie extravaganza – with fresh berries and marshmallows, or a softshake (several tastes available).

Allergies and other information. Please inform us of allergies at the latest, Monday the same week of the party (with the child’s name). We offer gluten free alternatives, and food without milk and egg. We do not serve halal meat, but have chicken and vegetarian as an alternative.

There are no birthday parties during school holidays. Up to three children can celebrate together, with a fee of 200.- per additional child. Two adults per birthday child have free entrance. One of our hosts will welcome you and you will be served in the café. You are responsible for the children when exploring the exhibition. There must be one adult per ten children, and that adult must be in the exhibition with them at all times. There is a maximum of 30 children per party, and the lower age limit is 6 years (1st grade).
Activities
Choose an activity for the birthday:
ASTRONOMY: Eggonaut or planetarium. Enjoy a visit in the planetarium into the universe amongst stars and planets, guided by our fantastic hosts. Or choose to be creative and make a spacecraft that will protect an egg on it’s fall from the 2nd to the ground floor. Will it break??? Age limit: from 8 years.
DETECTIVE: Help! Our trophy has disappeared! Can you help our hosts find the thief? Find the clues, evidence, and fingerprints to uncover who the thief is! Age limit: from 10 years.
CLAY/MODELLING: Learn how to make a figure/object that you can take home with you. Make something you will love, or make a gift. Age limit: 6 years (1st grade)
BE A JEWELRY DESIGNER: Design a piece of jewelry with pearl beads of different colours, shape and sizes. Age limit: 6 years (1st grade)
ROCKET WORKSHOP: Make your own rocket in either paper, rubber bands and other materials. How far can you shoot it? Age limit: 6 years (1st grade)
BUBBLE WORKSHOP: Make your own bubble wand with beads and sticks. Choose between different shapes. Test Vitenfabrikken’s own bubble amaxing mixture and take the recipe home with you. Age limit: 6 years (1st grade)
ABEL’S MATHEMATIC CHALLENGE: The Abel attic is full of fun, exploring and learning. Immerse yourself in the wonderful world of math! Explore over 50 experiments and installations. As far as we know, our attic is the biggest in Norway. Age limit: 6 years (1st grade).
Use the form below to send in a request. The booking is complete when you receive a confirmation mail with information and price. Change the amount of guests, menu or activity till the day before the party takes place. After this the booking is not changeable and must be covered in it’s entirety.
