The Looking Beyond exhibition, curated by Filippo Maggia, is a collection of satellite images, terrestrial fragments coloured with almost all the chromatic tones, each with its specific meaning. These coloured patchworks and mosaics are a testimony to the life of a city, to the activity of a volcano, to the history of a lake or a glacier, a forest or a desert, to an atmospheric phenomenon or a desertification process. Promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Italian Space Agency and Telespazio S.p.A./e-GEOS, this exhibition aims at narrating the beauty of a planet at risk and the potential of Italian satellite technologies to the service of Earth.
You can find the images on the ground and 2nd floor of Vitenfabrikken.
The exhibition is supported by Vår Energi.
