Aviation museum opening hours during school summer holidays

The Aviation History Museum Sola is open Tuesday to Sunday at 12-4pm throughout the school summer holidays.  At the museums, you can visit three exhibition halls:

  • The original museum hangar that the Germans built during World War II
  • Torpedo workshop with exhibitions “Tales from the Second World War”
  • New exhibition hall that opened in 2024 with the exhibition “We who flew during the Cold War” and eight fighter jets

Tickets are bought in the café. TThe cafè sell ice cream, “lapper” (pancakes), hot dogs, croissants and cold and hot drinks. There are toilets in the café building.

The museum is fully accessible for visitors with mobility impairments, and it is easy to navigate by wheelchair.
