The smokehouse is built of granite in the early 1900s, while the barn was built in 1847 and is a pole barn. A wind machine – wind mill of the Jæren region – is placed behind the barn.
There are many nice hiking trails around Vistnestune that are also suitable for prams and wheelchairs.
